The 600-bed teaching hospital campus is composed of three interconnected buildings, a 335,000 SF outpatient clinic, 435,000 SF diagnostic & treatment center and 625,000 SF inpatient nursing tower.
A common architectural vocabulary ties the campus together and humanizes the scale. Ground floor lobbies and pedestrian arcade are clad in terracotta limestone. Vertical stairways and horizontal circulation routes are transparent glazed beacons, towers are composed of alternating precast, glazed and metal clad massing. Major entry points are announced with cantilevered metal clad protective framed roofs.
